e_fatiada.exe and e_fati9aa.exe : Many people have found one of these files running on their system on startup, and are not sure what it is.

If you have an Epson printer, this file is NOT spyware. It is simply the printer control program for your printer. The e_fatiada.exe file is associated with the Epson Stylus CX4800 printer, and the e_fati9aa.exe is associated with the Epson Stylus CX4600 printer.

These programs monitor the printer for faults and for ink levels. We do not recommend disabling them unless you really are concerned with low system resources. If you are sure you want to disable it,follow the steps in our MSCONFIG tutorial.

Of course, if you do not have an Epson printer, and never have, these might be spyware masquerading as a legitimate file, although we have never seen such a case. If you are in doubt, please run through the steps in our Get Rid of Spyware guide.
