Zedo is a web advertisement company. They have created a cookie that sits on your computer to track your web surfing habits - many of the Zedo affiliates use this cookie to figure out where you've been and what you like.

Luckily, this cookie can easily be removed with free software.

To remove the Zedo cookie, you will need to run the free Ewido anti-malware program. Read our complete instructions for downloading and using Ewido.

After you run Ewido and reboot, the Zedo cookie should be gone. However, there may be more spyware lurking on your PC. These things tend to travel in packs ;)

Go through the instructions in our Get Rid of Spyware guide to remove any other infections, and to protect your PC from future spyware.
