If you are seeing a file called "mm4.exe" running on your PC, you may be infected with a nasty trojan (spyware) called VXGAME. Here's how to get rid of it...

The VXGame trojan has many variations. The variations that create the mm4.exe file usually will hide the malicious files in a folder called inet200xx (where xx is another 2 digit number) in your Windows directory. To delete the files and this folder, you would have to be in safe mode. However, just deleting the folder won't be enough to clean your PC, and deleting the files before you attack the heart of the infection may just cause you more problems down the road.

Your best bet is to go through our Get Rid of Spyware guide and follow the directions to the letter. Not only will these steps clean the infection, but upon completion your PC will be well protected against future spyware infections.
