was in Chrome's "Under The Bonnet" settings, now I know!

Being largely a computer ignoramus, there is one thing I'm not sure about regarding the settings.sol file, I use
CCleaner, if I leave the erase Flash Cookie box checked, when cleaning will this affect settings.sol file or should this
box be unchecked?
