Before posting, we wish to bring your attention to the fact that here at Help2Go we have a few basic principals for creating posts. We do not allow profanity in any of the forums, nor do we accept posts that are written in 'chat style' language. Also, writing your questions clearly and as accurately as you can will ensure more timely responses from our members.

After you have signed in, you will be directed to the Home page. Here you can choose which forum your question should be posted to. The Computer Help forum for general computing questions or the Spyware Help forum for questions about viruses, adware, Spyware & Highjackthis logs. Click the appropriate line as indicated.

After selecting the forum, click on the New Topic button

This is the window to ask your question in.
You must have an entry in the Subject line. Please do not put HELP or any non descriptive wording here, try to give a simple and short explanation of your problem, even if it's something like Windows XP not working. This will give our members an idea of the area you're asking about, your post stands more of a chance of being looked at than putting Hhhhhhelp!

The body of the post is where you can get into the detail of the problem. If you are getting error messages, we need the exact wording and spelling, what you were doing to get this error message, what program etc. Also letting us know if you've just installed or uninstalled a program may help in finding your solution. In other words, the more information at the beginning, the faster you'll be up and running.

As you can see in fig 4, information on your system is also a must. There are so many differences between one computer and another; this will also help in getting you the right help from the right person(s).

And finally, at the bottom of the page click the Submit button.

You will be returned to the forum page. There you will see your post. When you see replies, that means that someone has responded to your question. Double click on your topic and the window with your post and the reply will show up. Reply to questions by using the Reply button and then submitting.

Please remember, we are all volunteers, the person who has your answer may be half a world away and may not see your question for some time .. be patient, someone will respond. And finally, when your problem is solved, let us know which solution did the job, even if you get it from somewhere else, this will help others who have the same problem.
