My AVG Complete Test has detected a virus. It's identified as downloader.agent. How serious does that sound? Is there any way to deal with it without spending money? By the way, it seemed to appear when I subscribed to my isp's "variety pack", which I immediately cancelled. _________________ sailor
Please also tell us where AVG is finding it. Please also do the following:
Download HijackThis . This program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer. Double-click on the file you just downloaded. Click on the "Install" button. It will by default install to the directory - C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\ Run a scan and save the log file. Do not fix anything in HijackThis since they may be harmless. Make sure to include the System information at the top of the log as well. _________________ Proud Member of ASAP
