hello,

i am having trouble with my computer. Wheneveri turn my computer on i get the message

File is corrupt or missing
/windows/system32/config/system

how do i fix this problem??

i tried to go into the recovery console like other forums have said but after i get past the stage where you pick the operatin system you want before you are suppossively taken to the administartor password i get a blue screen that says critical erroe has taken place. Computer has been shut down to protect it BAD_POOL_CALLER. ]

I dont know what this means at all!!!

It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me fix my pc...

P.S i made this computer myself and has an OEM installed package of Windows XP that i bought from a retailer

If you have multiple sticks of RAM installed, remove 1, try, if it doesn't work, remove the other, put in the original one you removed and try again. If that still doesn't work....I'll get back to you.
