recover password

Hi I was mucking around putting a password on my screen saver then i tried to put a pass word on windows not sure what i have done but my original pass word is not working and of course i can not change it is there any way to recover pass words thanks heaps if you can help .win98

Did you not have a password before? if not then click start>find>files and folders> type in the search field *.pwl

once it finds all the pwl files delete them and reboot. make sure that you don't have other users logging into the machine with their own names and passwords. If this is the case then just delete the one with your user name
