pass word screen saver

hi guys thanks for a great service can any one tell me how to pass word my pc and or screen saver i want to stop my son from using my pc while i have it downloading from kazza can i set a pass word on the screen saver thanx heaps neil

If you don't have Acrobat - go to Start - Settings - Control Panel - Display
Screensave - Choose an available screen save from teh drop down list and then click password protect - click change to enter password

Right click on your desktop>select properties>click the screensaver tab>tick password protected>select change>create your password>set the amount of time the computer must be idle before the screensaver turns on>click apply.

Screen Saver passwords are not that secure. Anyone with a boot disk can bypass it.
There is no real 100% secure way of keeping anyone out of a computer short of using duct tape or puting a padlock on the door.

After you get PC back running, seeing how you just posted that can't gain access because of playing around with passwords.

I suggest that you fix the Son.
