i have adobe acrobat reader 6 (the full version).
i have a pdf document with a collage picture (with a logo text inside the collage) and the text below the picture.
I am trying to take out the logo on the collage and put a new logo text in its place, but i can't seem to get it to work; i'm sure there's a feature in adobe 6 that will allow it b/c i managed to cross out the old text and see a box showing the newly inserted text, but i cant seem to make the old text go away.
please help!!!
thanks very much.. |

The Reader is just that, a reader and does not include any editing tools.
You need the full (pay for) version of Adobe Acrobat 6 for that.
Alternative you can convert the PDF file, edit it and convert it back to PDF.
There are converters out there but I don't know of any free ones and even they only convert to RTF or Text so much of the formatting will be lost. _________________ Take control of your life. Leave others to control their own. |

hi there,
thanks for responding i know i have the full version of adobe acrobat 6 b/c i can select text and/or image and copy it to the clipboard or to another program as well as export all images on the pdf file; those features were not available in v5; i dont think the free version would allow you to do all that; i can even save the pdf as a word document and a rtf format.
The weird thing is that the collage picture has some text on it that i 'm trying to replace with new text; i see a feature in adobe 6 that seems to allow that; it crossed out the old text and put an arrow where u can insert new text, but that's how far i got ; i cant'seem to overwrite the old text with new text on the picture.
I have been trying to may be find a work around it, but no luck yet. |

The text on the pic may be part of the pic itself so therefore it will be a graphical interpretation of the text. You will need to edit it in a graphics editor such as Photo Shop. _________________ Take control of your life. Leave others to control their own. |

ok, i found a work around for it in word; i exported all the images from that pdf file and then insert them into word and then play around in word; it was kinda tedious and not the most efficient way to do it but i managed to get it done.
Thanks for trying to help me |

Computer efficiency is an oxymoron
When I do some tasks I find I can complete manually in 1/4 the time it takes on a computer. _________________ Take control of your life. Leave others to control their own. |
