Hi, Can anyone help

My outlook 2003 - is destroying my attachments - .exe, .pdf,. .xlm, and .doc

The files can be opened on for example Yahoo, gmail - but once downloaded to outlook - I see the file attachment but when I open it - it tells me that it has been corrupted beyond repair. -Even if I save it from outlook to PC.

Please guid me

Simon

I haven't tried this program, but it looks promising http://www.slovaktech.com/attachmentoptions.htm . By default, Outlook doesn't open .exe and some other folders for security purposes .. these formats are how airuses are introduced to your PC. Be sure of who's sending you them before opening and make sure you have a good updated e-mail virus scanner (AVG free does a good kob, but nothing is 100%). Keep us posted and let us know how the program runs if you decide to use it.

you might also want to run the compact tool on your mailbox. Could be a corrupt .pst file.
