I just bought a TomTom One 3rd Edition for my daughter and she loves it. The US version was $250. TomTom One 3rd Edition is the latest model of basic GPS and is cheaper than the 2nd Edition due to them not including BlueTooth (which I didn't need anyway). Completely portable, it will run on the rechargeable battery when not plugged into the cigarette lighter. Charlie
It can be programmed by address, intersection of 2 streets, zip code, or city and remembers places you have previously entered. I spent a few minutes going through the online manual, then gave my daughter a short 5 minute tutorial and off she went. |

Thanks for your help and time Charlie. It sounds like it is easy enough; I just have to find one at the best price, cheers Jim |
