Well, my wife and I are off tomorrow for about two and a half weeks (our first real holiday without kids) !!!! OH YEAH Laughing We are going on a seven day cruise from Vancouver through the 'Inside Passage' to Alaska ( Ketchikan, Hubbard Glacier, Juneau and Icy Strait Point) and back again. I'm told there is wireless connections aboard, so I hope to stay in touch via the laptop. For sure I'm taking the camera and will share some pictures with you.

Ciao for now, ship leaves Sunday. Very Happy

My in-laws went on a similar cruise a few years ago and they still talk about the amazing scenery. I sure you and the wife will love it. Enjoy Smile

Thanks for the good wishes guys. We had a fantastic time. Still in transit and won't be home till next weekend. Wireless communications onboard was very expensive (via satellite), so didn't signup for it. Between 4 cameras we took almost 700 pictures, needless to say much editing is to be done. The glacier was awesome ... breaking off and falling into the sea.

Hi Canuck, I came a little a bit late just to find out about THE trip to Alaska. It's amazing. I've heard a lot of good things from several friends. I haven't been audacious enough to go up there. I'd like to do it on my Gold Wing.
Those are great pictures! My friend, in France, would love to have one of them. She's got a blog site (Roannemaville.over-blog.com) and she collects pictures from around the world to compliment her poems. If it's not too much asking, would you allow me or her to copy one or all of them? They look so real, you can almost touch them.
I appreciate you sharing them with us
Have a great day!
C.Frihi
