Someone at Help2Go noticed one of my screencasts (on Secunia Personal Software Inspector) and said nice things about it. Thanks!
I have created a number of these -- short videos on good, mainstream software that is either free or very high value. They describe the software, and provide instruction on installation, configuration, and use. Many might be of interest to folks coming to your site. They are here:

If there is any way I can help, here, let me know.

It seems to be working for some people. The log shows an attempted access at 12:30 pm EST and lists the IP (24.70.95.205) as greylisted with Project Honeypot. Would that be you? Perhaps you would like to check out this link:

What's amiss, here? |

So, my question is, what applications and online services do mainstream folks want to know about? What/who is a mainstreamer?
Fill in the blank: You know you're a mainstreamer if _________ .
e.g., You know you're a mainstreamer if you have ever bought a book on anything with "for dummies" in the title.
Mainstreamers don't worship technology... they use technology. A solution with a big learning curve, or that costs a lot of money, is a contradiction in terms.
Mainstream Guides are 'screencasts' -- short videos that show you, rather than tell you, how to do things. I'm writing Mainstream Guides about the kinds of things my in-laws and friends ask me for help on, e.g.,
* How can I easily protect my most valuable files, .e.g, home accounting files, family picture collection?
* How can I easily keep track of my passwords?
* How can I keep my computer secure?
* How can I mail pictures to friends without choking my outbasket, or their inbasket? My in-laws will keep me busy, but I also want to know what you want to learn about, and what problems you're trying to solve...
