Never thought to test what the service provider says. Guess I'm assimilated. Resistance was futile.

You have to remember that your speed will vary depending on how far it is to the check point and even which direction you are checking. I always get better speeds to the west, slower speeds east- no doubt due to the structure of the internet system. To check to see if you are getting what your ISP advertised, pick at least 2 checkpoints that are close. Charlie
