Hi. I keep getting the same trojan daily- it's Trojan.Fake Drop/Gen. I don't know why or where it's coming from. I'm having to do a spyware check daily and have it removed.
When I thought my computer was malfunctioning ( lots of static from the hard drive, really slow computer, couldn't cut and paste or move from page to page,etc) I did a spyware check and found 3 trojans. I thought what I had installed already would have prevented them from getting into my computer in the first place)- one was in memory and two were in files . Two were Trojan Unclassified-Packed/Suspicious and 1 Trojan Fake-Drop/Gen.
Now I find that every day when I turn my computer on, there's static from the hard drive, a really slow computer and when I do a spyware check there's this Tojan.Fake Drop/Gen and I have to take the time, daily, to remove it.
Just wondered where it was coming from and how to keep it out permanently without having to do a daily spyware check and removal. I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks.
