AS if I knew what I were doing, I submitted a poll along with my new topic submission. How does that thing work? How do I check if it's submitted correctly? How do I check results? So many questions. So big the lottery. So enduring the attention span. So few believable candidates.

I would suggest you forget about the poll. In the past they've not curried much of a response.
