I changed my mind. I am now in the market to buy a reasonably priced used car. Just what is 4x2 drivetrain?

Probably means 2 wheel drive. That would be my guess, and 4x4 would mean 4 wheel drive.

I was told a 4x2 actually means front wheel drive. Go figure!
