Hi osc,
I've noticed in the forum that members or guests omit giving their OS and other computer info that would assist in finding a solution. Would it be possible when a new topic is started that there is a form to fill in eg:

Operating System:
Memory:
etc,etc.
this may encourage or at least remind people for the info. If this is not possible, can this information be put into a persons profile (required info .. at least basic stuff)? Then if you want to respond to a question, just look up the persons profile.

Have a geat day Very Happy

That's an excellent idea Canuck -- I'm sure it can be done, I'll just have to figure out how. I don't want to make it reuuired, though, but having it there would be a good gentle reminder to provide that info.

Maybe there could be two buttons -- one to start a general new topic, and another for "Ask a computer question" that would ask for that info.

Any suggestions?
