Recently I decided to upgrade my TV capture card from anolog to digital.
My dilema was that I use an old NTSC anolog camcorder as my webcam and the Aussie TV runs on the PAL system.
With both the new and old card I was forced to reconfigure the card each time I swapped from camera to TV, a right pain.
So I took a shot at installing both cards on the same system leaving the old anolog card permantly set to handle the camera work and the new for TV.
And it worked. No clashes, crashes and I can run both at the same time.
The trick was that each card used entirely different codecs and drivers.
It is one of those rare things indeed when two similar objects work side by side.
Oh the new card is a Compro DVB T200A (A fo aussie)
