I was kind of bored today and figured I'd start something here that I've seen other places. Sorry, I'm not that original  . We help2go'ers are here helping people for many hours at a time and I thought it would be a fun idea to see your work areas. (Where your computers sit). To help with bandwidth I ask that you please post your images to a free image hosting site such as photobucket or imageshack (.com for both) and point us to a URL. I'll go ahead and start.
Here's my office desk. The one where I work at all the time. I know the monitors are old and the one on the left actually started on fire once but I'm a little too cheap to throw it away.

I'm the "organized chaos" type if you couldn't tell by the pictures and yes, that is a Mac on my workbench. I haven't used one in 12 years and figured it was time to refresh the memory. No, I will never fully switch to Mac. I am a Microsoft Groupie yet I like to have a broad range of knowledge .

I am called the Basementgeek for a reason. I wanted to be called
"DumpsterDude" but it was already taken

It's not only where I use the computer but watch TV too. It's very comfy (note the footrest) and I have been known to doze off here
Where's the computer? Well, just the other side of the wall is the garage. I find the whirring of the fans so annoying that the computer is out there. All the leads go through a hole in the wall. A cable with a USB socket on the end is piped through for cameras and memory sticks. A USB DVD/CD combo is this side of the wall too. Mains, stand-by and reboot switches are this side in a cupboard (left). |

I hear ya whoozhe, my space is just a bit of a mess.  One day I'll do some house cleaning out here in my shop. Or maybe I won't LOL I'm the only one that comes out here on a regular basis.

My boss says stuff to me all the time about the mess on my desk. But, I can find things when he asks for them, so he doesn't really care that much.
I heard something really good yesterday.
Organized people are just to lazy too look for things.
