I came across this program that was recommended in one of the newsletters I get. Switch Sound File Conversion Software' free version (there are 3 versions, free, demo edition and full version can be downloaded here http://nch.com.au/switch/index.html . It will convert 'a variety of different audio file formats including wav, mp3, ogg, flac, aac, wma, au, aiff, ogg, msv, dvf, vox, atrac, gsm, dss and other formats into mp3 or wav.' Including other features.
