Hi guys,

I remember a post by someone who wanted to know if there was a way to reset the DVD Region limit on his computer's DVD player (You can change the region on your player up to 5 times and after that you can never change it). I saw in a well-known computer mag about an app that can play DVD's from different regions so you don't have to adjust the settings on your computer's DVD player.
Here is the address:

http://www.videolan.org/

It seems like an interesting little player from what I have read and can do many things. I have not tested it out since I do not have access to any foreign DVD's. But if anyone else does, please let us know.
On most people's computer, they have auto run set up so that if they insert a DVD, Media Player for exaple may auto start. So, to bypass this, after you insert your DVD, hold down on the shift key. This should turn the DVD autorun off temporarily. I am using a Dell Inspirion 9300 so it may be different on a different brand computer.

Bob
