for posting sites/downloads where we know for sure that we've picked up nasties... to be forewarned is to be forearmed

Don't know if this has been done/suggested before.

Hi Gemini,

Probably a more direct option, and an easier way to avoid such site and downloads is, to install the Host Files as recommended here at Help2Go. Installing them will prevent access to 1000's of know corrupt sites.

And there is a good freeware program avaliable which allows you to edit and update the host files here:
