Has anyone ever purchased anything from ecost.com?

My sister and I want to buy our parents a bigger tv for christmas and these look like some pretty good prices. I mean, look at this one, it's a 43" plasma for less than $500.

I don't have any experience with them, but my suggestion would be to research the model of TV you are buying to be sure of the quality. Practically any web based business can get the TV to you in one piece, after that you will be dealing with the TV manufacturer. Tough loss for the Colts, but I have a feeling they will meet again. The game last week may well determine who gets the home field advantage in the rematch. Charlie

Leah,

I just looked around on that tv no one appears to know who makes it, lots of complaints about a remote and instructions, to me it looks like typical low end electronics-- the E-machine of TVs--Also sold by Walmart--Where would you take it for service? I'd stay away from that brand..

You can Google "ilo TV"

Yeah, it was disappointing, but I wasn't mad or anyhting, because it's just one game. All it will mean, is home field for them, most likely and we've won the last 2 games at NE. So, I'm not worried about January. This week will be tough, we play @ san diego and they got beat bad by the vikings, so they won't want to lose 2 games in a row. But we don't usually lose 2 games in a row, so, that should be a good one too.

Woot.com has side deals to this site all the time, that's why I was wondering. I'd probably only buy a brand I know. Although I bought one from tigerdirect that I'd never heard of and I like it. I still want a bigger tv though.

I bought an LCD TV about 6months ago. they have a depot or something here in north texas so the item was delivered pronto (2nd day after order) i had a pixel problem with the tv and they agreed to replace it as long as i sent it back. it's like most estores some people have pleasant experiences with them some others not so.

also note if you reside in a state where they have a physical presence you will be charged taxes. unfortunately this is not apparent in your shopping basket until you check out (and actually remit paymeny) do you get hit a tax figure. i don't mind it but before i submit payment they should display cost breakdown.
