I've downloaded the zip for smitfraudfix and opened it. I click on the smitfraudfix.cmd as per istruction and all that happens is a box trys to pop open. It happens so fast I dont even see what it is. I thought maybe my popup blocker was the cause so I shut it off and still nothing. Any help would appreciated.

Hi Darth,

I'm curious, who told you to run smitfraudfix? This is your first post here so no one here has specifically directed you to Wink

The BEFORE POSTING READ THIS FIRST! topic has some points that should help you out if you follow the steps Smile

I have ran spybot and it had found Smitfraud-Cgp and Zlob.Downloader. I did a google search on these and came across your site. I read some other posts of people that had these same things and followed the advise givin to them.

What you might try is to click Start -> Run -> then type cmd.
Navigate to the directory with smitfraudfix and try running it from the command line.

However, I highly recommend that you only run this tool if you know what you are doing...
