There is a problem with my putting an avitar on my name, it shows up on my account page but not on my posts (not that I've made many or that it's a life threatening situation!!) I tried putting one in on the forums file and also on the account page but to no avail. |

Hi Canuck,
Were you uploading the avatar or using a link?
I've made some upgrades to the software, so hopefully it will work now. If not, send me a private message with a link to your avatar and I'll get you squared away.

Hi osc, no I was using one of the avatars that the site supplies. Which place should I be activating it .. your account or your forums profile? Thanks. |

Tried it under the forum page and indeed an avatar did show up in the show avatar section. We'll see if it works when I post this, however if it doesn't, the following message came up after I submitted my choice "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: validate_email() in /home/help2g/www/public/includes/usercp_register.php on line 336 |

canuck, on the left hand side of this screen click 'your forums profile' choos you avatar there and see if it works  there are 2 different places to do it..the one i just told you is the one for the forum.

I've done that Mich and got a "Fatal Error". Have forwarded the full info to osc for his info. Thanks for your help |
