Can I change mhz in laptop?

Can I change the mhz in my laptop? It is a toshiba 435ctd. I need 140mhz I have 120mhz to make my DSL modem to work.

Welcome to the site jolarry. We have two forums, this one "community forum" which is designed for members to post or read notices not relating to computer problems, eg suggestions for the forum or problems with regards to posting or signing up .. administrative stuff. Your question belongs in the Q&A forum where you are free to ask and give advice on computer related stuff. Take a look at the Q&A forum and you'll get the idea. Also, as you have done, it helps to give as much information about your computer, this helps tremendously when trying to help. So perhaps you could cut and paste your question into the Q&A forum, under a New Topic. I'm sure someone will have an answer for you.
