Just a suggestion here.

Anyone on cable/dsl /dedicated phone line connection should have their AVG update DAILY.

Up dating once a week could be 6 days too late.

I really can't see it in Community Discussion and Q&A. This has been traditionally the forum where osc and others have referred or asked for input on articles, software etc. Having said that, it may not be a bad idea to have an area for "Recommended Software and updates". We'll let osc figure this out when he gets back from holidays (although he is keeping in touch during his travels).

I sort of have to agree this may not be the best forum but not sure were it belongs. Its a statement, if you will, not a question seeking answer.

One way for everybody to check on the lastest available updates to look at this site daily:

It is forum that individuals scan for the latest up dates to programs and post them. The problem with this is that most of the World is on dial up and it is just some thing else to wait on to down load this calendar of important updates.

If Canuck every gets a new sound card he and I will see if we can come with something better idea how to address this and make a recommendation to OSC.
