Confirmed problem in my case.
Just a further update with information. I do not know Stephen Chapman, but I concur with all he is saying here. I am convinced that Threatfire caused my recent problem:

Umm, give the user credit for actually using those programs!but for Ghost 12 (PC) and Acronis 10 (Laptop) I would have lost everything in my case due to Threatfire.....sigh.
