    Default A salutory lesson

For some time my wife and I experienced trouble with our laptops. We were getting "timed out" messages, "cannot connect" messages and variious related problems. As I am laughingly considered the more experienced user, I spent hours on the net trying to find answers to the problems. I won't go into all the ways I tried to sort things out. One night we were preparing to go out with friends and I went to the spare bedroom to look for a particular jacket I wanted to wear. We also run our wireless router from this bedroom. There I found that a rack of clothes (most of which were encased in long, thick plastic covers) had been moved in front of the router. I moved the rack out of the way and our laptop problems disappeared. It would seem that, even at my age, we still neglect to look for the obvious things first. As Homer would say, "Doh!!".
A little help is worth a ton of sympathy.

Hm...very interesting! What are the possibilities of that being the issue for many who can't find the answer to a connection problem.
