    Default PC gaming

Could anyone please advise? I recently purchased an old PC game (Max Payne 2 the fall of max payne), I've installed it on my system (windows 7) with no problems, but it won't play? My graphics display is a Nvidia Gforce 7025. Please can anyone advise? I'm also also running a quad core processor AMD Athlon 640, am I missing anything? Thank you

Hi zep516. Having attempted to play the game again, I was presented with a 'launch.exe' option which I chose...but nothing happened? If possible could you talk me through this? Sorry........

    Hi Number7,

Uninstall the game completely then try to install with Admin rights as discussed here by AstaLaVista.

There are some other good ideas in that thread too.

If you think you might be infected with malware or have recently cleansed your computer of malware without the help of an expert, please read and follow the instructions in How to Start Removing Viruses and Spyware from your Computer. Hi DonnaB, sorry to appear as a bit of a dumbo but.....how do I reinstall with admin rights? The game is a 3-disc installation so, how do I go about this? I did check the link you sent me but I couldn't work it out....unfortunately on this occassion, for me it is rocket science!!

There should be a Set -up .exe file when you first insert the game disk. To install with administrator rights right click on that file. See what happens there.
