    Default Converting audio cassettes??

I have some old audio tape cassettes which I'd like to convert so I can store them on my laptop or on CD. Does anyone know if this is possible please, and if so, how?

    Thanks

    Hi Steph,
I had to dust this tutorial off as it hasn't seen the light of day for awhile!! Help2Go - free computer help and advice - Convert Cassette Tapes to CD this should give you an idea of what to do, if you have further questions please don't hesitate in asking.

Thanks Canuck, that's just what I needed!

Where the tutorial refers to interconnect cables, does this mean to use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo jack to jack cable lead?

I found this on amazon and it looks like it might be the right thing but I'm not sure : FPUK 3 Metre 3.5mm to 3.5mm Stereo Jack to Jack Cable: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

    Thanks

    Steph

You need to check the output plug on the cassette to the input of the sound card in the computer, the connectors you mention look like they should do the trick.

Thanks Canuck, I'll order it and hopefully it will be the right one.

Think I'm going to be busy for a while, I have loads to transfer!
