Default Can I scan an installation disk?

Hi......happy Christmas & a blessed new year to all at 'help2go'!! Please can you tell me? I have a genuine windows 8 Pro installation disc that I want to install on my system. Before I do, am I able to scan it for errors or viruses? Please can you advise? Thank you

    Hi Iamattam,

Sorry for the delay in responding. Did you get this sorted? Where did the W8 Pro .iso come from that is on the disc? If it was legally purchased I see no need to check if for errors or viruses.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

    Donna

Hi DonnaB.....thank you, no worries with delay, I understand. Yes all sorted now, and yes the disk was purchased from a retailer. And thank you again for your support. Equally I wish you and your family every blessing for Christmas, and a healthy & successful 2015. Take care & thanks again.......
