Thanks NM, will read all about it, looks very interesting.
My opinion regarding updating Drivers is "If it ain't broke, don't be fixing it"
All the best to you.

Hi Guys
Sorry for the delay in responding but my pc finally decided to die on me and
i had to take it in for repair, apparently it was corrupted. They removed everything
and reloaded XP again and updated my drivers as well. Unfortunately i lost everything
and now have to download all the updates for windows (all 147 of them).
Anyway i have realalized how important backing up is, which i still have to learn to do.
Do you recommend downloading XP3
Once again guys, thanks to you all and keep up the great site

Hi Cremora, sorry to hear the bad news. This time around, apart from backing up your data, also keep a separate disk with your drivers on it .. and updated (it's a lesson we've probably all learnt the hard way!!). As far as SP3 is concerned, suggest you give it a miss, there really appears to be little, if any, advantage in installing it. This seems to be the general consensus of our members.
