    Default IE7 will not start on 1st try

    From a cold start IE7 will not start on 1st try, it opens to a white screen and 1-1.5 mins it states Not Responding. Close it down and open IE7 a second time and all runs fine, and all successive closing & opening of IE7. Shutting computer down and starting up the next day produces the same problem...any ideas???

    Do you have any other processes that are still loading like an antivirus program or firewall? What connection do you have? If wifi, has it fully detected the network and connected?

    Click Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools, and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). See if this helps.

    No other processes running, checked Windows Taskmanager and IE is the only thing running, Modem Cable connection with TimeWarner.
