    Default Windows Vista Ready Boost

Does ready boost really work to speed up your system and if so how much quicker is it supposed to be? I have an (Asus R2E with 1.00 GB Ram and Windows Vista) which the system takes an age to boot up running applications are also slow. I have read on the Asus forum that someone with the same machine and problems used the system ready boost option which they say made a real difference to the performance. One problem I might have is that I bought a SanDisk 4GB flash drive and used this for ready boost. Would it be any better if I was to use a SanDisk extreme 111 SD HC card or will I be wasting money?

P.S you canít add Ram to these Machines
