Default svchost.exe corrupted after Browser hijack.

This looks pretty common but would seem the fix is unique to each users device.

I experienced a browser hijack Trojan. I moved it to the vault then ran Hijack this. Deleted all selections. Since then my PC has been loosing ground. Browser redirect stll hapening, svchost errors popping up, audio gone, network gone occasionally, application will not open.

Running XP SP2 on Dell XPS200 with 2g memory.

Please help I cannot do without this PC and I am at my wits end.

    Thanks

Whilst waiting for a more detailed analysis of your log, go to the H2G Detective and paste it into the box. Follow the instructions regarding removal of certain items, the do a rescan and post a second log to this thread.
