hoping somebody can help
when I try to connect to wireless network, ie cannot display the/any web pages, yet its telling me i'm connected. Why is this?

Hi karenrozier, welcome to the forum.

Our Malware experts won't be online for some hours, but there are a couple of things you can do beforehand.

First, paste your logfile into the H2G Detective and follow the instructions given.

Next, download the free version of MalwareBytes and install it using the default settings. Start the program and run the updater. If you have no internet connection available, just run it as is.

Post that log back to this thread, together with another HJT log which should be run after all of the above.

In addition to the above, are you able to connect your computer via an ethernet cable? If so, do you get the same problem?
