Camera on Toshiba Laptop
The built in camera and Camera assistant Software that came with my Toshiba Satellite Laptop Dual Core w/ Vista that I bought 2 years ago, used to work fine. However I have not used it in a while. I have taken plenty of still pictures and videos in the past and was able to save to file on my computer. NOW-- it works and everything just fine, with one exception- I cannot save the pictures or videos to file. Everything seems to work just the way I remembered that it did the last time I used the camera. I am able to take a picture or video and view either one, right after I take it- but, there seems to be no way to save it. I either forgot how, or something got changed along the line. I would think that if I lost a driver or something, that the thing wouldnt work period. But it does work just fine- I JUST CANNOT SAVE PICTURES OR VIDEOS TO FILE. I dont get it. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might have happened, or if there something over riding that capability??? HELP- I need to use it for a project.

Maybe it's automatically saving them look in the pictures folder on the drive or
You can configure the web cam software to automatically save the webcam pics to your hard drive.
Maybe set like the above have you looked in the pictures folder?

here is you post stay with it,
You were absolutely correct. The pictures and videos were being automatically sent to file. Now I have another problem and this one might be a little bit more tricky. I am no the only one that uses this computer in my home, so anything is possible. Here is my problem now: Ok, I went in and started checking videos, because while I was playin with the camera and not knowing they were automatically going to file- I sent about 30 videos and picts to file. As I was going through them, I would hit delete, then a small pic of the video would come up. I was looking at some old ones, and as I was trying to decide which ones to delete- everyone I opened and played, was the same gross porn video. In other words, when i tried to play ANY of the videos, it came up that same ( and I swear I have no idea where it came from ) porn clip played. So I went to the camera and made another short clip of myself sitting at the desk, went to the file, clicked on it - AND THE SAME PORN CLIP PLAYED AGAIN!!!! HOW DO I GET RID OF THAT??? I DONT GET IT. I CANT EVEN MAKE A VIDEO OR SHORT CLIP< IT WILL ALWayS PLAYBACK THAT SAME GROSS PORN CLIP!!! ANY IDEAS?

• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
