Default I need help with Sound Recorder

Does anybody knows how to increase the length in the window of Sound Recorder?

When I click the red buttom (record) the length sets to 60 seconds.

Thank you for your help.

If you really MUST use Windows sound recorder, apparently you *can* force it to override this setting by opening a sound file of the desired length, then recording over this file.

A better solution would be to download AUDACITY and use that, as it will do so much more for you than the windows sound recorder.

CLICK HERE to download the FREE Audacity Player or use the above link to visit the developers website.

I also used to use Windows Sound Recording until someone in my previous job recommended AUDACITY. I have used it ever since, it is also great for converting music files and splitting them up.
