    Red face Fax help

    Dell all-in-one printer/copier/fax....will not fax because I do not have a TSID

    what is a TSID and how to I get one....

    I will need to send faxes via the internet since my phone line uses the computer modem.

    I dont know anything about it, but perhaps that will shed some light.

    I think you'll find you can only send a FAX via a telephone line. As far as I know, it can't be sent via an internet connection.

    A TSID is set by you within your FAX program.

    If you have a broadband connection, make sure your FAX is connected to the phone line. If you have a dial up connection, the same applies. Just use a splitter.
