    Default Green screen

I have a Packard Bell PC with flat screen. When I start the PC the screen shows the initial logo but then we have a kaleidoscope of pin stripes before the screen turns green. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting every thing and it did work as normal for a short time but then the screen started to flash and the display on screen fade before reverting to a green screen. Can any one help please

    Hi and welcome to help2go!

Have you tried anything in safe mode yet?

if not, go to safemode by tapping F8 during boot

    click start > control panel
click display (if this is not an option, click 'switch to classic view' first)
    click Advanced
    click Adapter tab
    click Properties
    click Driver tab
click Roll back driver and ok back to desktop
    Reboot.

If that does not work, or is not an option, try the Uninstall option from the same place next.
    Reboot into normal mode
Windows should detect new hardware and reinstall the driver for it.

Let us know how you get on.

    Always remember you're unique.
