    Smile Adobe Reader 9.0

    Hi there,
I have Adobe Reader 9.0 installed on my computer, when doing my normal routine of scans, my internet security which is Kaspersky detected a problwm with this. Kaspersky automatically decides what to do with the problem.
I was wondering if I could uninstall this problem and download again from a website. I am not sure if I chosen a trusted website or not.
Does also Adobe reader include a flash player also.
When I go on control panel, add/remove, there is a list which included:'
    Adobe Air
Adobe flash player 10 activex and
    Adobe reader 9.1
    Any advice will be appreciated.
    Many thanks Kerry.

Yes you can uninstall it and install again. In fact, I recommend you do that as V9.2 has been released.

Adobe - Adobe Reader download - All versions

If Kaspersky continues to hit on this, perhaps you need to tell Kaspersky to ignore it.

    Default Adobe ???

    KerryH;....

Have you given any thought to Foxit.????..It's free also.....
It's a LOT smaller program , (43.5MB for Adobe & 5.07MB for Foxit) & it does nearly everything Adobe does without bogging down your system....Worth a try & "may" even solve your problem....In case you're interested here's the link...

Just a suggestion from a novice user....

    Hi there , Digerati... Remember me.....Ron.M ????

    KerryH:...

I use it for picture pictures , TV schematics ,service manuals , etc...
I'm NOT trying to confuse you , but I AM a novice....
I do not know how it works OR IF it uses "the flash player".....
Digerati "may" be able to help you answer that question...
It's not a huge file to download , so try it for whatever purpose you need....
If you're unhappy with it , there's always Add/Remove Programs....

    Good Luck & Best Regards...
