Partitions aren't 32 bit or 64 bit, the operating systems installed on them are. What exactly are you intending to do with the second partition? Install a 32 bit version of the operating system? Why??

    More info please.

    Default partitioning

I have a need to boot in one or the other.

My printer is not able to work with vista 64 bit.

So I need to have the option on start up.

    Thank you for your help,

    John

So you intend installing a 32bit version of Vista on the other partition, just to run a printer? Are you intending purchasing another copy of Vista?
