    Default Internet Problems

Hi, thanks for reading my post. I've been having problems with my internet lately and I don't know how to fix it. My internet works perfectly when I hook my PC up directly to my modem but when my modem goes directly to my router or x box, it doesn't receive connection.

I have Cox High Speed Internet, a wrt54g v.4 Linksys router, and a HP pavillion p6310y PC. If you need more information just ask. Thanks again!

    Hi kenny,

I found this info concerning connecting xbox to a linksys router.
NOTE: Before proceeding, please take note that Linksys does not support the configuration of Xbox™. The following instructions simply tell you how to configure the router for the Xbox™, not the game console itself.
That info was found here > Setting up an Xbox? and a Linksys Router

Though, here are some instructions on connecting your router.

Here's a link to the xbox help forum. Maybe they can help.

Yes. I've did all of the following but still when I connect the modem to the router or my xbox 360 it doesn't work.
