    Yes, thats probably the case.

Chances are the card is just running in a very basic mode, as the windows generic drivers will be being used at the moment.

There are 2 display drivers available for that model.

One is an ATI graphics driver
the other is an Intel driver.

Do you know which card is installed on your computer? perhaps by a sticker on the case or information on the box?

    hi
im having abit of trouble finding the card info,my problem is i dont know what the info looks like.
itried to do what abseh1 suggested and i found some yellow ? marks they said video controller vga compatable, when i double clicked it in a wee box it said the drivers for this device are not installed.the 2nd ? mark saidpc1 modem, same result and message and last ? mark said sm bus controller also same thing in a box. its probably nothing to do with card info, but if you can give me idiot proof instructions for what im looking for id be extremely grateful.

Yes, i think your right abseh1.

Please click on the following link:
    Ati Driver
and choose to save the file to your desktop or somewhere you will be able to find it.

Once downloaded install the program contained inside the zip file, which should be Setup.exe then follow the prompts. Once restarted, check device manager again to see if the ? has gone, then retry your game.

before you try that, try installing the other driver:
    Intel Driver

if that does not work, we'll need to dig deeper to find the correct driver, or try another trick to get it installed.

what exactly is happening when you install the driver? is it installing ok? any error messages? keep a note for your next post.
