Default Google Chrome slow loading pages

I have been using Google chrome for about 2 months and was initially impressed. now i find it slow to load pages. this happens on my laptop with XP and desktop with W7. Are there issues with this browser?

You could answer this question yourself, by trying other browsers alongside it.

You at least have IE to compare it too, is it the same?

If so, it may be an issue with your ISP, not your browser.
I've rang up twice now asking how they can sell broadband quoting 8MBps download speeds that actually slow to a crawl at peek times!

I do find my ISP to be slow at times however IE and Firefox load quite fast compared to chrome.

Any add-ons or updates to chrome you've noticed lately?

I have not heard of any issues with chrome, either via newsletter or word of mouth. Perhaps an update is available?

you would know how to update better than I, but its usually in the options under the Help tab along the top of the browser.

Other than that, i'm out of ideas... without an uninstall and re-install.
