    I hear a lot of really good reviews about Nero, but it is not free!! I'm not as experienced with Burning Software as a few of the other members here, but I found this link here that is an alternative to the Nero Software application called CDBurnerXP. Take a look!     No problem Donna...CDBurnerXP is a great burner ...very easy to use too
    I have Nero paid addition and still use CDBurnerXP mostly

    Depends what exactly your trying to do, but i find IMGBurn does what i need...

    If its backing up of your DVD disks you are attempting, be careful of copyright infringements!
