Default My computer seems to be blocking my android phone to pc connection through USB

    Here is my computer information.

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20GHz
    Processor Speed 2.14 GHz
    Memory (RAM) 2048 MB
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
    Operating System Version 5.1.2600

I am trying to connect my LG Optimus 2X android phone to my PC via USB. When I plug it in, it is making a 3 beep connection instead of the usual one tone that says it is plugged in. I cannot find it on the pc to transfer any files.

I also have been playing Red Alert Yuri's revenge and suddenly it also will not connect to play online anymore.

What information should I send to you to try and find what the issue is?

Remove the SD card from the phone, wait 30 seconds, put the SD card back, and start the phone. wait for the phone to finish mounting the SD card, then plug into the computer. if it fails, test on a different computer, you may have firewalls or similar blocking a USB connection.

I would also check out the users guide @ http://www.google.com/googlephone/ne...-userguide.pdf

If it fails on multiple computers, perform a factory reset, and try again

You will need a pdf reader...I prefer Foxit PDF Reader (FREE)
It is less bothersome than Adobe too
(if you already have Adobe reader...disregard)
    Foxit Reader is free
